Becca Nano is an inspiring dancer and choreographer who grew up dancing at The Dance Center in Winchendon, MA. She started dancing at 2 years old and immediately fell in love with it. By age 8 she auditioned for the competition team and started her 9 year journey of competitive dancing and convention training. She trained in multiple styles such as Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Jazz, Acro, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Tap. Throughout her dance training she has attended various programs located in New York City and Los Angeles, CA. Such as CODA SouldeSoul Dance Convention, Matthew Rushing Performance Project at Peridance, IAF, and Joffrey Ballet Summer Camp. 

After completing her training at The Dance Center she went on to sub classes and assist teachers. Teaching multiple styles such as Contemporary, Modern and Jazz. She got the opportunity to set a large group contemporary dance “Dracula” on The Dance Center Competition Team for the 2023/2024 season. Receiving a Young Choreographer Award from Spirit Dance Alliance. As well as choreographing “When My Time Comes Around” for “Haiku” a production by Jennie & Company in 2023. 

She started touring as a Soulelite for SouldeSoul Dance Convention for the 2022/2023 season. This past year she toured again with SouldeSoul Dance Convention, this time as a Soulelite Pro. At these events she assisted multiple choreographers such as Mackenzie Martin, Michaela Moore, Maryann Chavez, Justine Menter, Alexis Rowland, Nikki Gyfto, David Slaney, Megz Alfonso, and Mikey Dellavella. While also getting the opportunity to teach in the Mini Room and work as a backstage helper during showcases. 

Since September of 2023 she has been training as a GenPro at Genesis Studios in Los Angeles, a professional dance program led by Mackenzie Martin and Taylor Hansen. While in the program she trained with several choreographers such as Hayden Frederick, Marie Spieldenner and Neaz Kohani. She performed as a guest dancer in “Walk On” a production by Geometry Dance Co. While also gaining experience dancing on camera in multiple films such as GenPros “Echoes in Blue” and the SouldeSoul Soulelite film “Spirit” both directed by Mackenzie Martin and Alyssa Park. 


She is currently training in LA and hopes to continue making connections in the dance world. She strives to bring a safe environment to her students and peers where they feel supported in their love for movement and mental well being. She is excited to see the next steps of her dance career unfold!
